Necktwister is proud to add Exoto to its booking roster!

Necktwister is stoked to announce the addition of Exoto to the booking roster.

Death metal band Exoto left the womb at the end of 1989 in Belgium. They released several albums before splitting up in 1996. Before splitting up they release the cult classic “Carnival Of Souls” and shared the stage will all the greats of the scene in that day. They shared stages with Annihilator, Benediction, Grave, Gorefest, Malevolent Creation, Massacre, Morbid Angel and many more. The metal scene feasted on the presence of Exoto, sold out all of their releases multiple times. But it all comes with a bitter pill. Drummer Didier died in a car-crash, leaving the band with a heavy burden to bear. The band split up inf 1996 after releasing “A Thousand Dreams Ago” in 1995.

In 2012 Exoto performs a few reunion gigs due to of a lost bet, and release a best off album in 2014. This was planned as a last relic for the fans, but vocalist Chris does not want to let go of the legacy of Didier this time.
He searches for suitable band members and resurrects Exoto with a full line-up in 2016. In 2019 they release a new album called “Absolution in Death” via Dead By Dawn Records.

The band plans a successor, but due to the great pandemic this gets postponed to 2022.
